‘Kudu Salindu’ remanded till March 25

Colombo, March 11 (Daily Mirror)- Notorious drug trafficker Salindu Malshika alias ‘Kudu Salindu' was remanded till March 25 by the Panadura Chief Magistrate Champika Rajapakshe today.

He was under the custody of the CID on a detention order.

Salindu was arrested by the security authorities in Madagascar last year and brought to Sri Lanka by a team of CID officers.

Should have done the court proceedings via video technology. Could have save on manpower and security plus the risk of an attack to set him free. This where you the Security apparatus should weigh the pros and cons in such situations. Unless there was a plan for him to escape and finish him up once and for all!
