Kusal Mendis hits the fastest century by a Sri Lankan in Men’s ODI World Cup.

Mendis reached his hundred in 65 balls with the help of 13 fours and four sixes during the match against Pakistan.

Though it is a batting paradise so called experienced players Kusal Perera and Dananjaya are playing like tail enders. In the next match send Dananjaya as an opener with Nissanka. If he fails then drop him for ever. Give Kusal one more chance at 6 or add Hemantha to that slot as you do not have any good batter in that squad other than Dimuth. Worst ever squad selection.

Being able to achieve victory for a country is more important than getting fastest hundred. If Kusal has not done enough to assist our country to victory, then talking of his century is wasted time. Already Kusal only in the team after he was banned due to poor behaviour in UK, and he has killed 40 year old riding bicycle while driving drunk late at night after a wedding, Kusal had done hit and run too.
