(SLC) - The Lanka Premier League (LPL) gears up for its fifth season with the release of its match schedule.

The excitement begins on Monday, July 1, 2024 with the Opening Ceremony followed by the first match between B-Love Kandy and Dambulla Thunders in Kandy starting at 7.30 pm.

Dont watch it and dont even go to stadiums. LPL does not make any useful contribution to the improvement of T20. Most sponsors are scammers too. Say no to Lontha League

This is a poor man's cricket tournament organised by the IPL an arm of the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) to help cash strapped Sri Lanka Cricket. After all as mentioned by Minister of Sports Hariin Fernando himsellf Sri Lanka is a part of India. Hope SL cricket fans will flock to the grounds in their thousands.
