Colombo, August 28 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa pledged to take legal action against those who initiated forced cremations during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaker during a rally in Akkaraipattu, Premadasa also pledged that a future Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) government will pay compensation to those who were affected by forced cremations.

You are absolutely right. Main candidates are of no good at all. There may be better persons among the rest of the candidates but they are not known and they do not have the team. Even if they win, it will be difficult for them to manage without a good team. By the way Desert countries do have good leaders for example UAE.

Members of the SJB who genuinely care about the well-being of their voters should do the right thing and join RW. Otherwise, they risk allowing a repeat of what happened when 6.9m brought in a 'savior.' It's the same dynamic playing out again, but this time, with even more at stake.
