Mahinda Samarasinghe assumes duties as SL Ambassador to USA
Former MP Mahinda Samarasinghe assumed duties as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United States of America, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago yesterday.
He stepped down as a Member of Parliament to take up the post last week.
He was appointed to the post following the vacant by the retirement of Ambassador Ravinatha Aryawansa. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
