Man found stabbed in three-wheeler at Town Hall

Colombo, July 22 (Daily Mirror) - A man was found dead in a three-wheeler near the dental hospital in Town Hall, Colombo, police said.

Investigations revealed that the victim was stabbed inside the three-wheeler. The incident was reported to the police this morning.

The victim was a temporary resident of Athurugiriya and originally from Middeniya in Matara. He used to hire out a three-wheeler in Colombo.

Cinnamon Garden Police are conducting investigations.

Do you know that Uber and Pickme are not regulated. I asked the Ministry of Transport and National Transport Commission a few months back and both have no answer. Do you want this type of Business Investments in our country. Any public service if run by the private sector must be overseen by a government authority. If Uber or Pickme make a error in the background check if a driver, criminals may be recruited. Police Clearance should be digitised so nobody will attempt to generate fake certificates.

Do you know there are some pickme and Uber drivers doesn't have the correct license plate number. And it's scary for anyone to get in during night time because some asked to cancel the ride and pay equivalent amount to avoid commission. Of course there should be some regulation
