Colombo, Jan 15 (Daily Mirror) - A 40-year-old person who was injured in a shooting incident near Randiya Uyana Housing Complex in Modara has succumbed to his injuries.

Police said the victim, a resident of Randiya Uyana, was injured when two persons arrived in a three-wheeler, shot at him and fled the scene late this evening.

The injured person was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo and succumbed to his injuries. Investigations are underway.
