Modara, Feb 14 (Daily Mirror) - A 51-year-old person was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo with injuries following a shooting incident at Modara Street in Modara, Colombo, last night, police said.

The victim is a manager attached to a guest house in Modara Street. An unidentified person who had arrived in a car had shot at the manager, who was in front of the guest house gate and had fled the scene.

The police suspected that a pistol had been used to shoot at the guesthouse manager. The cause of the shooting has not been revealed yet.

The Modara police are conducting investigations.

"Cause of the shooting not determined" is that the important thing. The first thing is to arrest the shooter then find the reasons. It sounds like if some one shoots a person he or she already knew why they were shot at. The question leads to speculation not real answers!

Design and implement a reward system say like RS.1mn to a Assault Rifle Rs.500,000 to Pistol etc to anyone who provides very reliable information to retrieve an illegal firearm. Maintain top confidentiality of information provider also a special unit to handle this. No names asked to collect money only a code.
