Murali boosts morale of coaching staff and players

August 01- In the wake of India's clean sweep of Sri Lanka in the recent T20I series, legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has addressed the coaching staff and players, lifting their spirits ahead of the ODI clash against India.

Taking to ‘X’, Sri Lanka’s interim head coach Sanath Jayasuriya thanked Muralitharan for his invaluable advice to the players and support staff.

“A big thank you to Murali for coming and speaking to our support staff and players! Much appreciated!” Jayasuriya posted.

Don't waste your time Murali. Only way to boost their moral is to show them some money and only way to win again is if you come out of retirement and play.

This is like grand aunt visiting their long list nephews!!! What's the point of his visit??? Just reduce the packages of these donkeys all will pull the load!!!! I noticed one thing every disturbing from most of the bowlers in the last match, after taking a wicket they show a lot of aggression which shows immaturity. Earlier only one donkey did it like wanidu now all the bowlers are doing it. I can understand that these players don't have the exposure to professional upbringing but now that they are paid in millions can't they coaching staff groom them???? Or it is factory default???? Seriously with these attitudes non of these players will last at the stage.

Looks like not many people are present seeing a lot if empty seats. The present generation have an ego problem. To address this situation, the pay structure should be linked to the performance of every single member assessing all areas concerned including discipline on and off the field. At the moment win or lose, the players are all winners!!!

Thank you Murali and Sanath! Your guidance and advise matter a lot for Sri Lanka Cricket. However, it will take more than morale boosting to correct Men`s cricket in Sri Lanka . The foolish pseudo superstar psyche of shamelessly underperforming players will require more than disciplining or morale boosting to change.

Underperforming team!!who selected them ? Who is coaching them? Who are the one who got them the job to Select and Coach the team? The main problem lies their ,men without a vision for the betterment of the game, nor they have any pride for the Nation. It's obviously just their personal financial gains at the cost of the Nation. Murali better not waste your time and energy.
