Colombo, April 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Muslim community in Sri Lanka is gearing to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr tomorrow, April 10th, following the sighting of the new crescent moon today, April 9th.
The Colombo Grand Mosque officially announced that Eid-al-Fitr, also known as the Ramadan festival, will be observed tomorrow for 2024.
Eid-al-Fitr, often referred to as the "festival of breaking the fast," signifies the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims around the world fast from dawn till sunset.
