NMRA suspends licenses of 60 pharmacies

The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) has temporarily suspended the licenses of 60 pharmacies during the past five months.

According to NMRA CEO Dr. Saveen Semage, the decision was made because these pharmacies were operating without a licensed pharmacist.

Dr. Semage stated that the NMRA is committed to ensuring all necessary requirements are met before issuing licenses, as part of its efforts to maintain proper standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
