The executive officer who is responsible for the controversial shipment of Chinese organic fertilizer in 2021 is a candidate for the National People’s Power (NPP) in Wattala, Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera charged.

He said the real masterminds of the controversial import which caused a diplomatic rift between the two countries are now exposed.

The NPP candidate was working for the local agent of the Chinese fertiliser company. The agreement for the supply of the fertiliser was between in Agriculture ministry and the Chinese fertiliser company. The local is only a facilitator and the quality of the product needs to be tested and approved by the purchaser. That is the Agriculture Department or the ministry. It looks like Gota and the Minister was "Babas". The present minister is OL qualified (?) and that is why this statement. Can fellows like these hold responsible positions in government.

If anyone is responsible for the import of this Chinese excreta it is the then minister of agriculture and none else. We had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to get nothing, yes nothing, in return. Not even high quality Chinese excreta. The more you open your dirty mouth the more unpopular your wretched government gets.

Now this fool is putting the blame on the man who is working in the company. It is the government which is responsible for importing the fertilizer and not the man who is working in that company.
