Navy intercepts vessel with 150 kgs of heroin off Southern Sri Lanka
Galle, June 14 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Navy seized a multi-day fishing craft suspected be transporting heroin during a deep-sea operation conducted approximately 400 nautical miles (740 km) south of Sri Lanka.
The vessel, brought to Galle port this evening is believed to be carrying 150 kilograms of heroin.
The Navy said that they are currently inspecting the vessel.
