The navy today seized 187 kilos of Kerala Cannabis worth approximately 19 million concealed under a scrub near a fishing hamlet in Silawathurai.

Naval personnel attached to the SLNS Therapuththa seize the Cannabis on information.

Navy Spokesman Akram Alavi said the apprehended haul of Kerala cannabis was handed over to the officials of the Department of Excise, Mannar for further investigation and onward action.  (Darshana Sanjeewa)
