Colombo, Jan 24 (Daily Mirror) - Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa has been promoted to the rank Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).

He will take charge of Police Crime Range and will also continue as the Police Media Spokesman.

Promotions are galore for Police Spokesmen and all the previous spokesmen have achieved their goal as they have complied to their Master's Voice and as far as possible camouflage everything possible to ensure the Police Department is held in high esteem. The futility of this is better understood with the saying the "evil that a man does live after him and the good deeds are interred in his bones"
