Colombo, October 14 (Daily Mirror) - Following a meeting held this morning, the Examinations Department has decided not to re-conduct the Grade 5 scholarship examination and will provide free marks for the three questions that were allegedly leaked, Examinations Commissioner General Amit Jayasundara said.

The decision was made this morning following a meeting of a seven-member committee. The committee decided not to re-conduct the examination.

Addressing the media, Education Ministry Secretary Ms. Thilaka Jayasundara said the decision was made on the advice of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
