Colombo, September 09 (Daily Mirror) -  Nominations for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election will be accepted starting today (09), according to Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake. 

The submission period will take place at the Galle District Secretariat until 12:00 noon on September 12.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) placed deposits to contest the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections where former chairman Nalin Priyadarshana and four former members of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha were included in the list of candidates.
