Opposition camp could resort to violent incidents pretending as NPPers: Tilvin

Colombo, September 11 (Daily Mirror)-  The National People's Power (NPP) said today they have a doubt that the opposition camp could create violent incidents after the deadline for propaganda activities on September 18 employing their conspirators pretending as NPPers.

JVP general secretary Tilvin Silva told a news conference that opposition politicians keep on claiming on their political stages that NPP will create violent incidents in the country and said the NPP has a doubt that these politicians could resort to such violent incidents to show that they were committed by NPP people.

Silva requested security forces to record statements from those who claim of such violent incidents and discover how they came to know of it and take action against the perpetrators.

"We cannot do election propaganda activities after September 18. Media institutions also have difficulty in talking about political parties during that period. We have doubt that these politicians could use their conspirators to create violent incidents pretending to be NPPers. It is not a big deal for those who created Easter Attack to bring Gotabaya Rajapaksa to power," he said.
