Colombo, October 31 (Daily Mirror) -  A total of 93 fresh complaints related to the upcoming parliamentary election were received, taking the total number of complaints to over 1,000.

According to the Election Commission, a total 1,104 cases have been reported during the period from September 26 to October 30.

Of the total complaints, the National Centre for Election Complaint Management received 316, while the District Centres for Election Complaint Management received 820.

All complaints were categorised as breaches of laws, with 11 incidents of violence being reported.
