PCR tests to be carried out on Parliamentarians
PCR tests will be conducted on Parliament staff and MPs who consent for it, today and on Friday , Sergeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said.
Mr. Fernando told Daily Mirror that MPs willing to undergo a PCR test were welcome to get the test done.
" We will conduct PCR tests in Parliament tomorrow and on Friday January 15th 2021," he said.
He also said that about 31 MPs have been identified as close associates of those members of Parliament who had been already tested COVID- 19 positive to date.(Yohan Perera)
