PM wants debate on Commission reports on Feb 8

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said today that he had requested Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to convene Parliament on February 8, 2018 in order to have the debate on Bond commission report and the presidential commission on Large scale Corruption and serious frauds (PRECIFAC).

“There is no issue in having a debate on the bond commission report as it is nothing new. We have had several debates on the bond issue and there is nothing new about it,” the Prime Minister said addressing an election propaganda rally in Deniyaya this morning.(Yohan Perera)

commendable move lets see how the friends of my 3 are fairing. My 3 the most cleanest ( He says) out of all the politicians was shouting with his full voice that the debate of the bond issue and other reports on corruption have been moved to take up after the election as the both the groups are corrupt. Indirectly what he says is that the click around him are very clean among them are dila, susil, S B ,Dayasiri, Appachchi and the rest. Those who know the track records of these lot will cover their nostrils to prevent the stench emanating from theses shady characters.

I believe, UNP is the only party who can develop SL as they did in few decades ago with Gamini Disanayaka, Lalith, Athukorala SL would have been better then if they were alive and now UNP has good chance to bounce back with Harin, Harsha, Eran etc
