USA stun Pakistan in T20 World Cup super over - Yahoo Sports Florida, June 14 (Daily Mirror) - The United States scripted history on Friday, June 14, by qualifying for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024 after their match against Ireland was abandoned due to rain.

The rain also led to Pakistan crashing out of the T20 World Cup, marking the first time in T20 World Cup history that Pakistan has not qualified for the Super Eights.

Also, Pakistan will have to play qualifiers for the T20 World Cup 2026.

ICC did a betrayal in front of money to hold it in the U.S. Even a kid would be surprised to hear a WC grand event is held in a new venue where grounds are not tested prior to tournament. It needs quite a lot of tempering before hand to select a ground for a grand event
