Sir, sir... about the cars ?
Can we please, please keep them ? It would be a waste to have to return all those lovely V8's Lexus, Defenders and such-like to the government, no ?
After all, we only just received them from Uncle Ranil . Barely had time to take the family on an outing even !
Some silly people have already returned them and I see them parked near the SLFI and other places.

Must dissolve all politicals parties They grown up like mushrooms after independence like after the Tsunami lots association, foundation ....rise up. Now the tsunami is over, where are they ??
One Minister must not be also MP, Governer, Mayor...
Parliament must have only 3 sides.
One with the Government, One in the opposition and One neutral.
If need must change the Constitution.

159 SLPP MPs are in current parliament. Most of them will not return. Hope there will be more professionals in parliament and fewer goons.

Now one by one, the respective member of the Parliament has to hand-over to the Government. Even a Pin, they should not rob. This is the style of the ruling of NPP.

All this talks about bloody cars. What I like to now: who is running the country until the election? Only NPP? Majority did not vote for a NPP President. Don't you think that is more important? And besides: how many cars and houses has our new President himself? He is the 8th richest person in Sri Lanka.

AKD the 8th richest person in SL? That's news to us. Can you substantiate your bold claims ?

@ Sri Lanka, let's be hopeful! See how keen NPP to relieve the downtrodden, starving people of about 7 M after making Sri Lanka possible, etc. They are keen to have more power to make sure that Sri Lanka is a Marxist country as it is their priority rather than disbanding executive presidency as per the NPP representative mentioned on the media. SL heading for disaster unlike the 100 day programme that he praised.

While I understand your concerns about the potential for a Marxist agenda, I believe it's important to recognize that the JVP has evolved, and the NPP is unlikely to allow any radical shifts towards a Marxist revolution. Instead of focusing on fears and assumptions, we should consider the practical implications of the current political structure.
If we continue to maintain the Executive Presidency and the existing parliamentary powers divided between just two parties, we risk stagnation and inaction. To truly address the pressing issues facing our country, we need to empower the NPP to implement meaningful changes. It's crucial to give them the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to progress rather than letting fear dictate our perspective. Let's focus on the potential for positive change rather than dwelling on hypothetical scenarios.

Sadly most people have forgotten the past and the new people who think they know best.
1. When CBK came to power 1994 ( most not even born) had a simmer show , few months later nobody knows what happened to the vehicles etc, ppl got fooled.
2. When Yahapaler came to power they did the same show. Ppl got fooled
3. When Gota came to power he did another show ppl got fooled
4. Now with AKD he's doing another show...and later they will curse him tooo.
