Parliament, January 07 (Daily Mirror)- Partly constructed school buildings under the 'Langama Pasala Hondama Pasala' programme launched by the Yahapalana government will be completed, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya told Parliament today.

Responding to a question by SJB MP Ajith P. Perera, the Prime Minister said priority will be given to building projects that are nearing completion.

"We will review the Langama Pasala Hondama Pasala programme," the Prime Minister added.

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, FORGET ABOUT POLE DANCING, THIS GOVT HAS NO POLE DANCERS NOR FEATHERERS AND WILL GET THE JOB DONE. DO NOT EXPECT THE GOVT TO GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT, JUST OVER 3 MONTHS IN OFFICE ONE MUST NOT EXPECT MIRACLES AS THERE ARE NO GOD'S AND OR MAGICIANS IN THE GOVT, OTHER THAN COMMITTED, DEDICATED, COMPASSIONATE, HONEST ETC PEOPLE THAT HAVE SEEN THE SUFFERINGS OF THE MAJORITY AND HAVE COME FORWARD TO TAKE THE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE TO A BETTER FUTURE.

We don’t expect miracles overnight or even in a years time. However what the national Pacha party should do is get down to business. Bring out the files, start persecuting all those guilty, implement the so called magic programs that they promised on campaign trails. Stop blaming others and just get down to business. On note also stop typing things in CAPS unless you have stuck keyboard just like your party playing the same broken record over over and over again with no measurable action to show, other than implementing the so called perpetrators plans.

Some of these politicians try to emphasize that "Langama Pasala Hondama Pasala" is a misnomer. Whilst it maybe convenient for children to their homes but it is not the Best School. Tell me why parents in the outskirts change their residences to be in closer proximity to some of the recognized schools in Colombo and some important towns as they have produced excellent results which has assisted these children to reach higher echelons in life. Except for some teachers most teachers try to get a position in recognized schools to improve their ratings in the education field. Although some politicians boast of getting their degrees from schools in the outskirts these politicians have at some time being attending private tuition in some major towns as the teachers recognized are willing to share their knowledge at a price in major towns for a price. The halls of learning in schools are skewed as children who could afford can make use of these facilities the latest being online learning.
