Pathirana and Madushanka out; Shiraz and Malinga in for ODI series

(Daily Mirror) - Fast bowlers Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka have been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against India due to injuries.

Pathirana sustained a shoulder injury while diving in the field during the third T20I against India. Madushanka is sidelined with a hamstring injury he sustained during a practice session.

In their place, debutant fast bowlers Mohamed Shiraz and Eshan Malinga will be added to the squad as replacements.

Looks like the ‘Lonthayas’ don’t want to play against their masters. Not sure why this series was organized. MONEY yes, but Indian cricket council would think twice before playing these Lonthayas. It’s not good for their reputation.
