Pirith mandapaya made up of discarded lottery tickets

Kalupe Navaganna Kola Watta, Sri Khettarama Vihara in Hikkaduwa created a pirith mandapa from discarded lottery tickets and conducted the all-night pirith chanting on October 28.

The Pirith Mandapa was constructed with the participation of donors and schoolchildren.

More than 100,000 discarded lottery tickets were used to create the Prith Mandapa.

A chanting of pirith was held in line with the Katina pinkama. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
