Podi Lassie granted bail

Galle, December 09 (Daily Mirror)- Underworld figure Arumahandi Janith Madushanka Silva alias Podi Lassie was released on bail by Balapitiya Magistrate R.D. Janaka.

He was granted bail upon fulfilling a bond of Rs. 01 million imposed by the Balapitya High Court.

He was charged with the possession of 2 grams of heroin in 2017 by the Ambalangoda Police.

Podi Lassi, who was initially arrested in connection with the death of Manoj Mendis, has since been charged with seven counts of drug trafficking and murder. He was previously released on bail for several cases.

It appears after NPP came to power getting bail by those who use drugs has become very easy, example Lohan Ratwatte, Podi Lassie.... This must be the Happy Sri Lanka what NPP wanted.
