Let the voice of the people hear, crippling their rights is a human rights issue according to the UN Human rights commission's theory. The rights given widely when the US plot worked out to oust Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the same rights required by the people presently, so, why CURB them in a harsh manner? Law should be equal to all.

Unproductive Small Protest Tuesday, 18 June 2024 02:35 PM
Next time bring some shower gel and shampoo. Free bath before getting back home. Till today, these protesters are just wasting resources and time. The police will eventually use the water cannon if it’s a small to medium size protest and with STF personnel if it’s larger. Go and do community work until your desired job comes available until the next elections. Also, remember to vote these fellas out in the next elections.

Only a dictatorship disperses a peaceful protest with watercannons.

Inconveniencing Hard Working People Wednesday, 19 June 2024 06:36 AM
It’s not peaceful. Inconsiderate and inconveniencing the general public. Protest away from roads and roadsides as it’s a danger to others not involved who are also earning a living and getting errands done. These people expect high paying and comfortable jobs because of their education level. Unfortunately, the government is shortsighted and not ready for them. In actual fact, working experience count to. There are so many healthcare and service sector support jobs around. They should start there until their ideal job materialises.

Unemployed graduates are those with no skill to trade , those who worked as JVP protest boys , those who used old lecture notes to simply pass written exams, if they can get a trade skill, there are many jobs available. But these guys are actually working for NPP's disruptive activities, so they are technically employed.

The only skill these unemployables have is that needed to kill time. Hoplessness bought on by successive hopeless government policies.
