Colombo, August 05 (Daily Mirror) - The Election Commission has issued a final reminder that the deadline for submitting postal voting applications is today, August 5. 

All applications must be physically received by the respective District Election Offices by midnight.

In a recent statement, the Commission stressed that applications for postal voting must be handed directly to the District Returning Officers by the end of the day. 

Submissions that are merely postmarked on August 5 but not received by the deadline will not be considered.
