Multiple areas in the country are currently experiencing power outages, our correspondents said.

Accordingly, power failures have been reported from several areas in the Gampaha District and several other districts.

Power failures have been reported following the breakdown of the third generator at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant.

Therefore, 270 MW of power generation added to the national grid has been stopped.
