Back in the day Sri Lanka had Swedish, Norwegian, UK, Germany and Japanese help for development projects. Now we run to China for everything and the results have been disastrous with badly negotiated deals that ultimately benefit
China, and gaining debt beyond every Lankan's eyeballs. Don't we have the confidence to go back to our old friends in Japan and Europe for projects?
