If you are going to keep adding to government expenditure how are you going to finance it? It has to be either from increased taxes or market borrowings. Increasing taxes will dampen the economy. Increasing borrowings will destroy it. The root of all sri lanka's economic problems is the salary bill of government employees it is 80% of tax revenues. Deal with the root. Reduce the 1.5mn government employees amount bring that cost down, sell off or close down the loss making government entities. You are already failed AKD. You are doing the same as your predecessors.
