President appoints Vadivel as State Minister, Moulana as Non-Cabinet Minister

Colombo, August 21 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) national list MP Seyed Ali Zahir Moulana, has been appointed as the Non-Cabinet Minister of Development Projects with effect from today.

Meanwhile, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Vadivel Suresh has been appointed as the State Minister of Labour.

The duo recently announced their support to President Wickremesinghe.

What is amusing is that all most all candidates have rushed to the Chief Prelates to get their blessings for success at the hustings except for two candidates others have not commented on the abolishing of the presidency surprisingly including the current president. Throughout the last few years we have seen non indigenous institutions interfering in state administration Under this situation the Maha Sangha has a supreme role taking to task any of these candidates violating the constiution with impunity
