Colombo, March 3 (PMD)- President Ranil Wickremesinghe welcomed His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb, the Spiritual Leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, at the official residence of President this afternoon (03). 

With a global presence of approximately one million adherents spanning countries such as India, Pakistan, the USA, UK, Canada, Sri Lanka and Australia, the Dawoodi Bohra community holds considerable cultural and religious significance.

During the meeting, characterized by warmth and cordiality, Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb commended President Wickremesinghe's economic endeavours for Sri Lanka. 

He also brought attention to the upcoming Bohra Conference slated to convene near the Bambalapitiya Bohra mosque later this year.

In a gesture of goodwill, a meticulously compiled book showcasing the Bohra community's diverse programs and religious services over the past four years was presented to President Wickremesinghe.
