President orders to reopen roads near President’s House

Colombo, Sep 27 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has ordered the police to reopen Sir Baron Jayathilake Mawatha and Janadhipathi Mawatha near the President's House, to the public starting today.

Police spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said that previously only authorized vehicles were permitted to use these roads.

people of this country pray and wish the best to his excellency President. No doubt out 22 Million Sri Lankans a majority of people wish him well and pray for his wellbeing and in fact, people love him and want to take this country out of this economic mess. He is honestly dedicated to this country and for its people and yet, his excellency must take some care about his health and safety. Many people are concerned and worried about his safely. unlike before the election, now, His excellency represent 22 million Lankans and people would like to see taking all safety measure in the interest of this country . His humbleness and simpleness is well appreciated but when he becomes president, he must follow some official protocols in the interest of this country and its people. I think his team of NPP must advise him on this. I really appreciate his talent, skills and knowledge in politics...
