He is mentally sick Monday, 15 January 2024 03:44 PM
This is shocking , this guy has no understanding how the people are feeling so angry with him for wasting our money in these unnecessary travels when the country is surviving on borrowed money. A person can’t be so wicked , I am pretty certain he has some serious mental problem which has been carefully camouflaged for decades, otherwise no one in this world would behave like him.

Non Aligned Movement (NAM), singular movement, pioneered by SL with others 1950's - 60's by SWRDB, then Sirimavo, as PM’s, enabled Hosting 1976 NAM Conference, Colombo - 126 countries!? Thus SL became, ‘Political Sinecure’ elected 'CHAIR' steering the world through crisis for more than 40 years after mere 20 years of Independence, from Colonial Britain!! ISN”T it SIGNIFICANT?? In the Bi-Polar cold war years (1948 - 1988), averting Nuclear Confrontations twice and acting as Mediators of Arab-Israeli, Indo-China, Indo-Pakistan and importantly the SEA Wars in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos!!!??? If that, ATTRIBUTE is TERMED as, "to ATTEND the CONFERENCE FOR FAILED POLITICIANS?", then we have to seriously question, 'SANITY OF MIND and PURPOSE', and what is Rationality!!?? This COMPARED, presently EFFORTS by UN, UNHRC in “Israeli-Palestine” Conflict, with Iran in Background is DISMAL!?

This trip takes a toll on the body. It's winter in Switzerland right now and hot in Uganda then return to SL. Apart from the sudden change in climate, the body has to adjust to time differences. Jet lag is real. I don't know how they do it.

Why insult homosexuals? People who insult the LGBT community are usually men who are very insecure about their own sexual orientation. In Uganda homosexuslity is strictly forbidden by the way, Uganda is an undeveloped, cruel, backwarded country.

14 foreign trips in 14 months (numbers easy to remember, aren't they?). Yet in between flights he storms into the parliament chamber and makes outlandish statements (without any interruptions, helped by the yes man Speaker) just to amuse the few fools left and to distract the life and death struggle of the people at large.

Ranil is either brain dead or a sadist. Even the most deranged despots of Africa were more sensitive to the criticism of their people. Has Ranil decided to tour the world at taxpayers expense before his tenure ends ? Is his sadism and callousness towards the people some sort of perverted revenge for the burning of his house ?

Ranil Wickremesinghe will most likely visit a few more countries and important conferences and meetings in 2024 to say goodbye to his many world political friends!!! Ranil knows that he will no longer return as president after the upcoming elections and that the future parliament will be composed of a completely different majority!!! He can retire to his retirement home! An era of corruption, nepotism and decline will end!!! The country can recover and (for the first time) implement a socially just policy under a good presidency (Sarath Fonseka!) that does not divide but rather brings together the different forces!!!

I can't understand why the beautiful Sri Lankan people are putting up with a goon like this. He is a total disgrace to your nation ! He probably spends his time looking at world conference schedules and tries to go on holiday to many nations as possible ! I can't find anything useful he has contributed in any of these conferences.

Pi-President is wasting money given as loans. How is he behaving in this manner? He has no mandate to continue as the President. As far as I know to be the President of Sri Lanka , over 50% votes are required. This fellow was the night watchman , therefore should have held the Presidential elections within three months or so after GR resignation. But now he is acting as the the most powerful president of Sri Lanka. Is this the Democracy Sri Lanka has. This shameless fellow has become a Dictator.
