President unveils plans for talks with creditor countries

Colombo, June 19- President Ranil Wickremesinghe made a series of significant announcements aimed at revitalizing Sri Lanka's economy at the International Industry Expo 2024.

Addressing the gathering, the President revealed forthcoming negotiations with creditor countries.

He also outlined blueprint to boost the industrial sector, emphasizing the creation of new financial and economic institutions.

Key among these initiatives is the establishment of a new commercial bank designed to support industrial growth and innovation.

Further enhancing the country’s economic framework, the President announced the formation of an economic commission.

Very correct. Just showing off when actually bought using borrowed money. Should actually have regular medium size vehicles and limit its usage. As mentioned, priority should be to assist the needy in subsidising their medical and transportation expenses. All those so called politicians vehicles too shud be downgraded to reflect the country’s situation.
