Presidential Election to be declared tomorrow

Colombo, July 25 (Daily Mirror) - The Election Commission announced that an extraordinary gazette notification will be issued tomorrow (26) to announce the date of the Presidential Election.

The Commission said it holds no responsibility for remarks made by various individuals and parties on the day of the Presidential Poll and other constitutional functions.

All of us are enthusiastically waiting to cast our vote for a whole bunch of big talking presidential candidates from whom NO one has produced a measurable plan of action of how this country will be developed for the next 25 years. The economic experts of the three main parties NPP SJB and RWs team has correctly said Sri Lanka needs a window of atleast 25 years to be a developed nation and so far none of the candidates have published a plan and yet we want to have an election. Shows how stupid we have become as a nation.
