Presidential Poll: Indelible ink pens dispatched to district authorities

Colombo, September 12 (Daily Mirror) - The election authorities have already dispatched indelible ink pens to district authorities to be used in marking fingers of voters when casting ballots on September 21, an official said.

Sri Lankans will go to polls in September to elect the next president for a period of five years. The election authorities will use ballot boxes made of cardboard instead of wooden boxes this time.

The official said all arrangements were in place for the smooth conduct of voting.
