Prevailing rains, windy conditions expected to continue further

Colombo, May 25 (Daily Mirror) - Due to the south-west monsoon that has established over the island, the prevailing rain and wind conditions are expected to continue further, the Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre of the Meteorology Department said

Accordingly, heavy showers above 100 mm are likely at some places in the Sabaragamuwa Province and the Nuwara-Eliya district. 

Fairly heavy showers of about 75 mm are likely at some places in the Western and North-Western Provinces and the Kandy, Galle and Matara districts.
