Princess Royal of UK to visit Sri Lanka

Princess Anne - Biography, Princess Royal, Charity Work Colombo, Dec 14 (Daily Mirror) - Royal Highness Princess Anne, the Princess Royal of the United Kingdom will visit Sri Lanka from 10 -13 January 2024. She will be accompanied by her spouse Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

Princess Anne has been invited by the Government of Sri Lanka to participate in events connected with the 75th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom (UK).

Her nephew Prince Harry who married a half black American actress was put under pressure together with his wife by the British Royal family , that he had to flee with his wife to America. The British Royals are OBSESSED with skin colour even though they are trained to behave like good people in public. Let this woman come to our country but don’t put her on a pedestal but just treat her like a normal human being. Just remember when Sri Lanka was at the height of it’s civilisation ( both Tamils and Sinhalese) neither the English race nor the English language existed on this planet.

Ann We like to remind you that your ancestors destroyed our livelihood by destroying our tanks (each village had a tank where irrigation was needed for paddy cultivation) and irrigation system, especially UVA Wellassa are after 1818 rebellion. We had a surplus of paddy earlier . You created the current ethnic problem by divide and rule policy. You treated the majority like dirt. British robbed our villagers land by Land Ordinance No 12 1840 and Bare land Act 1897. Also gave land to those who sucked British. Lots of misdeeds done. Got no respect for any such visitors. Waste of public funds, could be better used. However there are Kalu Suddos yet in our society sucking to British.

Ok, Colonialism is out, and everything associated with it. But close your eyes and imagine if Sri Lanka was still a Colony. Imagine the infrastructure, transportation, roads, etc. It would be completely different, for better or worse I grew up in South Africa. It was a magnificent country with that British flavour. Now its another Banana Republic going down the drain. Colonialism is such a debatable subject, But it was what it was. Ho hum.
