RW attends Commonwealth Leaders’ meeting
President Ranil Wickremesinghe who is in London yesterday attended the Commonwealth Leaders' meeting.
The President emphasized the Commonwealth's importance in supporting youth involvement & education reforms and urged the strengthening of connectivity through digitization.
He also had a bilateral meeting with the President of Ghana.
Meanwhile, President Wickremesinghe also met Rwandan President Paul Kagame in London to discuss potential areas of cooperation on agriculture and healthcare between the two countries.
They proposed an exchange of visits by relevant ministers & discussed military cooperation, with President Wickremesinghe offering training for rapid response to natural disasters.
