Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived in the country this morning after concluding his visit to the Vietnam.

Prime Minister who left Vietnam on Sunday had decided to cut short his visit because of the tragedy at Meetotamulla.(T.K.G. Kapila)

I think our PM should focus and provide a long term solution to this garbage issue. Giving more lands for this purpose would not resolve this issue. We need to implement proper recycling measures. Now that we allow Chinese to establish an industrial zone in Hambantota, we should request Chinese to assist us in setting up a garbage recycling mechanism in this country.
