Provide STF Protection To These Important Individuals Friday, 11 October 2024 04:38 AM
All these opponents of previous regimes with high value information need to be given top priority protection. Maybe full STF protection will be safer as without their knowledge of the various criminal issues which took place, no justice will be matted out to the wrong doer’s .

Very poor decision as far as I think. He made few allegations regarding the bond scam recently and also regarding easter sunday which may be true. It should be investigated by somone else and details could have being obtained from him.

Excellent appointment. Politics should have no place in the police. Please Sir, see that my fellow countrymen are not beaten-up in custody whether they are pre judged as guilty or not. Legal process please.

Too late now most probably. Crime cases have a 20 year period.

Much needed catalyst to improve the efficiency of the CID. Shani the Computer will have lots of stored information to activate the CID to lay solid foundations into investigations for successful prosecutions

Very good. I hope a number of high profile cases put under the carpet will be relocked at with a view to fair outcome to the victim families.

Great. He deserves. He was politically victimised. Thankfully it is reversed.

The NPP Government should ensure investigations into who was behind the Easter Carnage are carried out independently and fast.

Very good move by Govt. A very good excellent investigation officer was revenged by crooks unnecessarily without humanity. To finish all big crime cases done illegally by earlier ruling authorities must be re- investigated without partiality

Good move. Let's solve the high profile cases.

As most of the recent appointments are politically driven, I hope they will be given enough freedom to preform the tasks with no interferences. It is also better JVP members refrain updating progress (sometimes daily) to media for political benefits especially during the period of general election

Brilliant - One of the best decisive actions of the AKD government. Shani Abeysekera is an example of a straignt forward state officer - who should be protected and exemplified as an example of a patriotic officer of the state.
Bravo AKD.
