The 3 main parties, UNP, SLPP, SLFP, are continuing to grab power by forming alliances full of corrupt and failed politicos. For the sake of the country"s future every voter must be wise in voting for a party with a clean slate. Yes, the NPP has a violent past mostly due its former JVP ideology, but at least corruption is not associated with them. If the former LTTE members could be forgiven and elected to office, why cannot one do the same with the JVP which no longer consist of those who were part of their violent past.?
