Rs.1.7mn robbed from a finance company in Jaffna

A man wearing a full face helmet had robbed Rs.1.7 million worth cash from a finance company at Chavakachcheri in Jaffna this morning.

The investigations revealed that the suspect had walked into the company and had threatened the cashier with a knife before fleeing the scene with robbed cash.

Police said the finance company had not employed a security guard.(DS)

The big difference is that these robbers are caught and punished while politicos who rob are never caught or punished.

What it says ???.sri lanka is not a safe country to do business.this is the area completely under cover of most of the country's military streanth. around 100,000 military presence area is this kind of unsafe,what about other parts of the country's safety ?.government is a total failer.

Bank Robberies happen everywhere. Police can't teleport when needed. financial institutions are recommended to have guards
