Ruwan to contest Gampaha from New Democratic Front

Colombo, October 10 (Daily Mirror) - United National Party (UNP) Deputy Leader and Gampaha District Leader Ruwan Wijewardene will contest the upcoming General Elections under the gas cylinder symbol of the New Democratic Front.

He signed his nomination papers earlier today.

@ Happy Voter; Ruwan said that Ranil said that he wouldn’t contest or become an MP from the National list. Then he should have resigned from the UNP leadership to make it true and realistic. He will come to the parliament after one year so through National list, as last time. It’s the nature of a fox in every sense.
