SF participates in SJB working committee

Colombo, March 20 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Chairman Sarath Fonseka participated in the party's working committee meeting.

Party sources said Field Marshal Fonseka did not speak but only listened to others.

Fonseka obtained a stay order from the Supreme Courts against his suspension from the SJB recently.

Sarath Fonseka, for me without a doubt, by far the best man in the SJB, can obviously not only speak well, argue and argue, as befits a democratic party struggling for supremacy and a governing majority, he can also remain silent and listen!!! The party should finally decide to put Fonseka at the top of the election campaign, overcome internal disputes, present a solid and convincing government program to the people and demonstrate the will to win through unity and no alternative politics!!! First comes the country, the people and overcoming suffering and hardship!!! Party bickering and arguments only benefit the political opponent!!!

There is no more hope for SJB. They can’t get their house in order and seem just wanting to stay in opposition to collect the parliamentary perks. Can imagine the chaos to run a country in crisis if they are elected. Similarly in Australia, they should have selected a team of “shadow minister’s” by this time to take over the various portfolios if elected.

SF says that Sajith views are different to his and he sees the next president when he is in front of a mirror. So, he shall leave the SJB without criticizing the leader where he is and advocate for his party, the Democratic Party of firebrand or flame.

Party politics are not closed door secrets as Sajith feels that bringing new comers to the party who had in the past had links with the Rajapakses will betray the party. We are in an era of advanced technology with not only the media having their news hounds but we have various categories of non media personnel trying to overtake even the media in disseminating even fake news.The crux of the problem in entertaining new comers is that it is difficult to judge when you have a snake in your pocket not knowing when it will strike you. So all party members should be on the same wavelength and toe the line of the collective decisions of the party!!!!

If Sarath Fonseka is going to contest from a different party he should have the self respect no to sit on any SJB meetings as he will be acting as a spy for the other party he is going to join.
