Colombo, August 8 (Daily Mirror) - Independent Presidential candidate Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka is to make a special statement tomorrow (Friday August 9).

Field Marshal Fonseka told journalists at the Bandaranaike International Airport that his special statement will be on his political future.

Fonseka arrived in the island after a tour of India where he had met Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

People of this country do not expect to hear or entertain special statements from a failed presidential candidate who is contesting as an independent candidate after his failed bid to capture the power of his party of which is is legally chairman and he has only try to save his deposit.

His plans: 1) Will be coming back to samagi jana සංවිධානය requesting the post of minister of deference, and he is going to arrest all the financial frauds who looted our tax payers money and put them in behind bars. 2) join runil, stay with him to protect the country as a defence secretary, not involving in to politics. 3) I m old, I m lost, my life no way to go..need to hang on someones shoulders.
