SJB parliamentary group rules out national government

Parliament, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) parliamentary group unanimously approved a resolution that the party will not support any national government under President Ranil Wickremesinghe, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said today.

"We declined a national government proposal by President Wickremesinghe two years ago. We renewed this decision today," Madduma Bandara told journalists in Parliament today.

The resolution was proposed by MP Buddika Pathirana when the Parliamentary Group met this morning.

So the actual competition is to get more votes than the other so they can become the main centre right party after the elections

SJB behaves like an elite party which doesn’t gel with the average person. Most of their officials are well off and don’t really understand the issues on the ground. Their in party fightings have been going on for sometime and SP can’t control the situation. They are only interested in their’s and their familie’s wellbeing but not the common man. Most have been elected previously but nothing significant has been achieved.

Let the people decide its their right have the elections early as possible no need of national government SJB has taken the correct decision going against forming a national government situation will get bad to worse, those who destroyed our country should be punished Rajapakses and Ranil, people shouldn't vote for them at any cost.
